Pakistan is fully countering the challenge of terrorism, says Federal Minister
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said on Wedensday that one year has passed since the Pahalgam false flag operation, however India has failed to present any credible evidence in support of its stance.
In a special conversation, he said that Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed issue, but India continues to term it an internal matter. He added that the Pahalgam incident reflects India’s “hollow, illogical, and arrogance-driven mindset.”
Tarar claimed that India portrays internal matters as external and external issues as internal, while using terrorism-related issues for political purposes.
The Information Minister said that the registration of an FIR within just 10 minutes indicates that the text was prepared in advance. He said that international media and Indian civil society have also raised questions over the incident.
He stated that the Indian media created a war-like environment through false and baseless reporting, yet it failed to present any concrete evidence in support of its claims.
Tarar expressed the view that minorities in India, particularly Muslims and Sikhs, are being affected due to Hindu extremism and state policies, and that evidence of state involvement in various incidents has also surfaced.
He said Pakistan is fully countering the challenge of terrorism and that any aggression would be met with a swift, effective, and decisive response.
The Minister further said that Pakistan’s political and military leadership is fully aligned for the country’s defense, and every possible step will be taken to protect the nation.
