Industrialists’ delegation meets Additional IGP Karachi to discuss security issues

A 15-member delegation of the Ittehad Cottage Industries Association, led by its President, Haji Saleheen Tanoli, called on Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi, Azad Khan, at the Karachi Police Office to discuss security concerns and matters of mutual cooperation

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) A 15-member delegation of the Ittehad Cottage Industries Association, led by its President, Haji Saleheen Tanoli, called on Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi, Azad Khan, at the Karachi Police Office to discuss security concerns and matters of mutual cooperation.

The delegation included Chairman Mazhar Fareed Hashmi, Vice President Muhammad Arif, along with Hamid Afridi, Sajjad Hussain and other office-bearers, said a news release on Wednesday.

During the meeting, both sides held a detailed discussion on security challenges faced in industrial zones, the overall law and order situation and ways to enhance mutual cooperation.

Additional IGP Karachi Azad Khan assured the delegation that their issues would be addressed on a priority basis and reaffirmed full cooperation with the industrial community. At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation presented a bouquet to the Additional IGP and expressed good wishes.
