Infant’s life saved at LGH as metal washer removed from stomach

Doctors successfully removed a metal washer from the child’s stomach through a delicate endoscopic procedure.

The child was immediately shifted to Lahore General Hospital in critical condition, where Assistant Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Dr. Hooria Rehman, performed the procedure under the supervision of Professor Dr. Muhammad Shahid. Using advanced endoscopic techniques, the team successfully removed the steel washer, saving the infant’s life.

Following the successful treatment, the child’s condition has improved significantly. The parents expressed immense gratitude and offered heartfelt prayers for the doctors and medical staff.
