An inter-provincial coordination meeting was held at the Range Police Office Dera Ismail Khan under the chairmanship of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ghulam Mubashir Maken to enhance cooperation and coordination among law enforcement agencies for maintaining peace and combating terrorism and crime

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) An inter-provincial coordination meeting was held at the Range Police Office Dera Ismail Khan under the chairmanship of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ghulam Mubashir Maken to enhance cooperation and coordination among law enforcement agencies for maintaining peace and combating terrorism and crime.

District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ziauddin Ahmad, SP Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Region-I and other senior police officials attended the meeting, while RPOs of Zhob and Loralai, DPOs of South Waziristan Upper, Zhob, Musa Khel and Sherani, SPs of Sadar Dera Division, CTD Region-II and relevant SDPOs participated through video link.

The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation and discussed measures to strengthen inter-provincial coordination, intelligence sharing and joint operational strategies against proclaimed offenders and terrorist elements active in bordering regions.

Speaking on the occasion, RPO Dera Ghulam Mubashir Maken stressed the need for prompt exchange of information and an effective joint operational response mechanism among all districts and regions.

He said coordinated planning, professional harmony and modern policing methods were essential to effectively counter security threats and organised crime.

The participants reiterated their resolve to continue close cooperation and enhance institutional coordination to ensure durable peace and public safety across the region.
