Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad on Friday night as expectations grow for renewed talks between Iran and the United States to end the Middle East conflict.

During his visit, Araghchi is scheduled to meet Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar. Earlier, Iranian state media reported that he would begin a three-country tour including Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow.

According to the state news agency IRNA, the visit aims to hold bilateral discussions and review the current regional situation, including the ongoing war involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.

Meanwhile, the White House announced that US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will arrive in Pakistan today for another round of talks with Iran to help end the conflict.
