Fans of the 64-year-old actor breathed a sigh of relief after his representative firmly dismissed the false claims, confirming that Fox is alive, in good health, and actively making public appearances.

The confusion arose when a tribute video titled “Remembering the life of actor Michael J. Fox” was mistakenly published online. The video was quickly removed and an apology was later issued to the actor and his family for the error.

According to his representative, “Michael is doing great. He was at PaleyFest yesterday, on stage and giving interviews.” The actor had indeed appeared publicly on April 7 at the screening of the Shrinking season three finale during PaleyFest in Los Angeles, effectively dispelling any doubts about his well-being.

Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991 Fox has long been open about his journey with the condition and has become a leading advocate for research. In 2000, he established the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, which continues to play a significant role in advancing treatment efforts.

In a recent interview, Fox shared his perspective on living with the illness, saying, “You take the good, and you seize it. I wake up and get the message of what the day is going to be like, and I try to adjust to it… I keep getting new challenges physically, and I get through them.”

Although the actor stepped back from regular acting in 2020 due to speech and memory challenges associated with his condition, he has continued to remain involved in the entertainment industry. His recent work includes appearances in The Good Fight and Shrinking, where he is also expected to feature in the upcoming season.
