ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday expressed satisfaction over the finalization of the the Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)'s location and directed that the planning and development process should be expedited alongside quality service delivery, trained professionals, and specialized architecture.
The DPM chaired a meeting of the Advisory board for the Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), where he took stock of the progress made so far, a DPM's Office news release said.
DPM Dar also emphasized upon the adoption of international best practices to ensure education, therapeutic services, and research in Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretary Education, Secretary Health, Special Secretary Finance, senior officials from concerned ministries, and other experts in the field.
