KARACHI: Islamabad United outclassed Lahore Qalandars with ease, sealing a nine-wicket victory in the Pakistan Super League clash held in Karachi.

After winning the toss, Islamabad United opted to field first, a decision that quickly paid off as Lahore Qalandars struggled throughout their innings. The Lahore side was bowled out for just 100 runs in the 19th over.

Among the contributors for Lahore were Sikandar Raza with 25 runs, Haseebullah Khan scoring 19, and Asif Ali adding 15 runs.

Islamabad’s bowling attack proved highly effective, with Chris Green claiming three wickets, while Richard Gleeson, Imad Wasim, and Shadab Khan picked up two wickets each.

Chasing a modest target of 101, Islamabad United comfortably reached the total in the 11th over with just one wicket down.

Devon Conway led the charge with an unbeaten 59, supported by Muhammad Faheem who remained not out on 34. Sameer Minhas was the only batter dismissed, scoring 5 runs.

With this emphatic win, Islamabad United registered their third victory of the tournament. They now sit second on the points table with seven points from five matches, while Lahore Qalandars remain in fifth place with four points from four games.
