Italy's manufacturing PMI rises to 52.9 in May, a record high since April 2022

ROME, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 02nd Jun, 2026) Italian manufacturing PMI rose further in May following gains in April, Italian news Agency (ANSA) reported.

The S&P Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) reached 52.9, up from 52.1 in April and 49.2 the previous year.

This is the highest level since April 2022 and the fourth consecutive month of expansion.
