ITP issues advisory: diversions on Srinagar Highway, Expressway amid foreign delegations’ movement

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) issued a traffic advisory, announcing diversions on major roads in the Federal capital due to the movement of foreign delegations.

An ITP official told APP on Monday that diversions would be placed at different times from morning till late night on Srinagar Highway, Club Road, Murree Road and Islamabad Expressway.

He said traffic flow on these roads was likely to be affected during the specified timings.

The official urged citizens to plan their travel with extra time to avoid inconvenience.

He also advised commuters to show patience during diversion hours and cooperate with traffic police officers on duty.

The official said Islamabad Traffic Police personnel were actively engaged in ensuring maximum facilitation to road users.

He added that further updates could be obtained through Islamabad Traffic Police’s WhatsApp channel, Islamabad Police social media platforms and ITP FM 92.4.
