Joint Police–Army operation in Tor Chappar Hills continues for fifth day

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) A joint search and clearance operation against terrorist elements in the rugged Tor Chappar mountain ranges entered its fifth consecutive day.

Kohat Police and Pakistan Army personnel are actively engaged in the operation, employing modern weaponry and professional expertise to comb remote and difficult terrain.

Suspected hideouts and mountain passes are being thoroughly searched to ensure the complete

elimination of militant presence.

District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, Shahbaz Elahi, is personally leading the operation, supervising forces at multiple locations and issuing necessary instructions to the troops.
