'Kashmiri Bangles' become a must-have tradition this Eid: report

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) As Eid approaches and markets come alive with colors and excitement, bangles continue to remain an essential tradition of the celebration every year, but this time 'Kashmiri Bangles' are stealing the spotlight with their beautiful designs and vibrant colors, priced from 1000 to 1500 which attracting everyone from young girls to elders.

Media reports say that Kashmiri bangles, originally crafted in Hyderabad are making their way to markets from Hyderabad to Islamabad this Eid season, attracting shoppers with their unique craftsmanship, vibrant colors and traditional designs, while shopkeepers say they are in high demand among young girls as well as older women preparing for the festive celebrations.

Many women are sharing their excitement: one said, “I love the intricate designs and bright colors they make Eid so special!” another commented, “These bangles remind me of the ones my mother used to wear, a true piece of

tradition,” and a third added, “I made these bangles myself at home this year because the market prices were too high, but I still wanted to enjoy the tradition.

Shopkeepers say that every female shopper visiting the markets is demanding these bangles, making them the most sought-after accessory this Eid, with crowds flocking to stores from morning till evening just to get a glimpse of the colorful Kashmiri creations.

While roadside vendors also claimed the demand is extremely high and admitted that the prices have risen significantly this season.

A 9-year-old girl said, “I will not celebrate my Eid without my Kashmiri bangles, as they are the trend this year,” highlighting how these bangles have become more than just an accessory they are the very spirit and symbol of Eid celebrations across the country.
