KEMU takes action against doctors over video incident at Lady Willingdon Hospital

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Apr, 2026) The administration of King Edward Medical University (KEMU) has taken strict measures against two doctors involved in a video-making case at Lady Willingdon Hospital, Lahore.

According to the Health Department on Saturday, following the recommendations of an inquiry committee chaired by the Dean of King Edward Medical University, Dr. Aqsa Khan, an FCPS trainee, has been immediately repatriated from Lady Willingdon Hospital to the Specialized Healthcare and Medical education Department.

Meanwhile, Dr.

Nadia Saleem, an MS trainee, has been transferred from Lady Willingdon Hospital to Lady Aitchison Hospital, Lahore, with immediate effect, in accordance with the inquiry committee’s recommendations.

The inquiry committee included Professor Muhammad Imran, Dean of Medicine and Allied/Professor of Medicine; Professor Ali Madih Hashmi, Chairman of the Department of Psychology; Professor Saima Iqbal, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology; and Professor Samia Saeed, Professor of Medicine, all from King Edward Medical University, Lahore.
