Knowledgeable personalities play role in development: VC

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has said that knowledgeable personalities played an important role in the development and well-being of educational institutions.

According to an official press release issued by the IUB here, the Vice Chancellor expressed these views during a meeting with overseas Pakistani social personality Engineer Kamran Ehsan in his office. The two discussed matters of mutual understanding and affairs pertaining to educational institutions. Both agreed that knowledgeable personalities should be invited at varsites to deliver lectures to share their experiences about different walks of life.

Director Students Affairs Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

It is mentioned here that Engineer Kamran Ehsan is engaged in welfare work in different areas of Pakistan, especially in South Punjab. He expressed his desire to install RO plants in various faculties and buildings of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Vice Chancellor appreciated his philanthropic spirit and thanked him.
