KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nawaz, the district administration in Kohat has intensified inspections across markets, educational institutions and health facilities to ensure compliance with official standards and improve public service delivery.

In this regard on Wednesday, Assistant Commissioner (Headquarters) Kohat conducted visits to various localities, including Kacha Pakha, where he inspected fruit shops, naan bakeries, general stores and hotels. During the inspection, cleanliness conditions and implementation of SOPs were reviewed, while several packs of illegal cigarettes were seized and fines imposed on violators.

The officer also visited educational institutions, where he checked staff attendance, cleanliness arrangements, discipline and adherence to government-prescribed guidelines. Instructions were issued to concerned authorities to ensure strict compliance and improve overall administrative standards in schools.

In addition, health units were inspected to assess staff presence, availability of medicines and the functioning of medical facilities. Officials were directed to ensure efficient healthcare delivery and strict observance of regulations, as the district administration reiterated its commitment to strengthening public health, education and service standards across Kohat.
