Leading the operation, Additional Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Mutahar spearheaded inspections along Bannu Road, targeting sweet and beverage factories as well as retail outlets. In a startling discovery, a major factory was found operating under deplorable sanitary conditions, with unsafe storage and hazardous working environments.

Authorities promptly sealed the facility, while several other businesses were penalized for failing to comply with health regulations.

The Assistant Commissioner of Lachi carried out inspections in Lachi Bazaar, where enforcement actions continued unabated. A bakery was shut down over poor hygiene practices, while illegal cigarettes were seized from another outlet, underscoring a broader push against both food safety breaches and unlawful trade.
