Kohat Police arrest suspects for desecrating National flag

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, Shehbaz Elahi on Saturday, has vowed that desecration of the national flag will not be tolerated under any circumstances, warning that those involved in such acts will be dealt with with an iron hand.

Police have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the incident of flag desecration that took place on the third day of Eid.

The accused were identified as Qadeer, son of Najeebullah, resident of Bannu, and Irshadullah, son of Saeed Ahmad, resident of Lakki Marwat.

According to SHO Thana Saddar, Noor Muhammad, the suspects committed the act which was later recorded and circulated on social media, sparking public outrage.

The DPO reiterated that strict legal action would be taken against the culprits to uphold respect for the national flag and ensure such incidents are not repeated.
