Kohat University VC holds open court to strengthen staff engagement and transparency

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) Vice Chancellor of Kohat University of Science and Technology Prof. Dr. Syed Zafar Ilyas on Thursday held an open court session with administrative staff from BPS-2 to BPS-16 to improve direct communication and address institutional concerns.

During the session, he listened to staff grievances, queries, and suggestions aimed at improving administrative efficiency. He assured employees that issues related to promotions and regularization would be given priority consideration and resolved in a timely manner.

The session was attended by senior academic officials, including Prof.

Dr. Ijaz Ahmad, Prof. Dr. Fareedullah Khan, Prof. Dr. Wali Khan Mashwani, Dr. Taleem Badshah, and Personal Staff Officer Asim Shah.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Zafar Ilyas appreciated the contribution of administrative staff in the smooth functioning of the university and reiterated his commitment to practical steps for resolving their concerns and incorporating constructive feedback.

Participants welcomed the initiative, describing it as a positive move toward greater transparency, improved communication, and a more collaborative institutional environment.
