KP announces spring holidays for universities, colleges

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) The Higher education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has formally announced spring holidays for all public and private educational institutions across the province.

According to a notification issued by the Secretary Higher Education Department, all public and private universities, degree-awarding institutions and colleges will remain closed from March 24 to March 26, 2026.

The notification further clarified that the previously issued order regarding the two-day weekend (Friday and Saturday) will remain in effect for the next two months or until further orders.

Copies of the notification have been circulated to all relevant authorities and institutions to ensure immediate compliance.
