ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Blind cricket Team emerged victorious in the 9th PBCC Blind Cricket Super League, defeating Balochistan Blind Cricket Team by 11 runs in a nail-biting final played at Abbottabad Public school and College Ground here Sunday.
The triumph secured the coveted championship title for KP after an exciting contest that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
Batting first, KP posted a formidable total of 201 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Sanaullah Khan Marwat led the scoring with a blistering 45 runs off 22 balls, while Kamran contributed 39 runs. Akmal, Hasnat Nasir, and Irfan scored 26 runs each, while Jibran added 24 runs to the total.
For Balochistan, Bashir Ahmad claimed two wickets, while Naimatullah took one wicket.
Chasing a target of 202 runs, Balochistan mounted a strong challenge through Muhammad Rashid, who remained unbeaten on 105 runs off 60 balls, including 13 fours and two sixes. Naimatullah supported with 37 runs, but despite their spirited effort, Balochistan could only manage 190 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs, falling 11 runs short of the target.

Kamran Akhtar was named Player of the Match for his impressive all-round performance. In the tournament awards, Idris Saleem was declared Player of the Series in Category B1, Badr Munir in Category B2, and Kamran Akhtar in Category B3. Ehtesham-ul-Haq was named the tournament’s Best Wicketkeeper.
Following the match, Pakistan Blind Cricket Council Chairman Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Abbottabad board of Intermediate and Secondary education Inayatullah Waseem, and former DG sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tariq Mahmood distributed prizes among the players.
