KP CM congratulates nation on Eidul Fitr

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi here on Saturday congratulated nation on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

He extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to all Pakistanis on his behalf and the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Chief Minister has announced the planting of one million trees across the province on the third day of Eid, March 23 (Pakistan Day).

The tree plantation campaign was a continuation of billion Tree Tsunami Program. An online app has been introduced for those participating in the afforestration campaign.

Citizens will upload their videos and photos after planting trees, and through this campaign, the world will be shown the afforestation activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is providing 45 percent of the country’s forests, and the province’s forest area has exceeded 26.5 percent.

The forests of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will prove beneficial for the entire country. The public is encouraged to actively participate in the tree plantation campaign.
