KP launches “Ehsaas Fuel Support Program” for motorcyclists

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced on Sunday the launch of “Ehsaas Fuel Support Program” aimed at providing financial relief to low-income population.

According to official sources on Sunday, eligible beneficiaries will receive a monthly fuel subsidy of PKR 2,000 under this scheme. The initiative specifically targets motorcycle and scooter owners.

To qualify for the program, the vehicle must be registered in the applicant’s name and the ownership transfer process must be fully completed.

Citizens can apply through the “Dastak App”, where they will be required to submit their personal information, vehicle details and relevant documents.

Applications will be verified through e-Sahulat, while the final approval will be granted by the Excise and Taxation Office. Applications containing incorrect information or incomplete registration will be rejected.

The registration process will officially begin on April 6.

Officials believe that this initiative will help reduce the financial burden of fuel expenses on low-income households across the province.
