KP Ombudsperson to hold open court on Thursday

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) he provincial Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced to organize an open court (khuli kachehri) and awareness session to address public grievances and promote awareness of citizens’ rights here on Thursday.

The event will be held at the Deputy Commissioner Office, where members of the public will have the opportunity to directly register their complaints and seek guidance from relevant authorities.

Citizens have been requested to arrive by 10:45 AM to ensure timely proceedings.

During the session, complaints and issues related to human rights, family court matters, police grievances, cases involving the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), cybercrime, women’s inheritance rights, revenue department matters, and harassment against women will be heard and addressed.

Officials said that the initiative aims to ensure prompt and effective resolution of issues, particularly those faced by women, while also raising awareness about their legal rights.

The people, especially women, are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity by presenting their complaints and suggestions for immediate action.
