KP Police orders transfers, postings of senior officers

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of senior officers in the public interest with immediate effect.

According to an official notification issued from the Central Police Office, the orders were made under Section 17(4) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Act, 2017, with the approval of the Provincial Police Officer.

As per the notification, Nisar Ahmed Khan, PSP (BS-20), has been posted as Additional Inspector General of Police (Training), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in his own pay and scale.

Syed Ashfaq Anwar, PSP (BS-20), has been posted as Commandant SSU (CPEC), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Meanwhile, Ghulam Mubashir Maken, PSP (BS-19), has been assigned the charge of

Regional Police Officer, Dera Ismail Khan Region in his own pay and scale.

The notification was issued with the approval of Provincial Police Officer Zulfiqar Hameed, PSP, and has come into force immediately.
