KP Police promote 18 Assistants, one Stenographer to BPS-17

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have promoted 19 officials from BPS-16 to rank of Office Superintendent (BPS-17).

According to an official notification issued on Saturday, 18 Assistants and one Stenographer were promoted to higher grade.

The promotions were approved in line with recommendations of Departmental Selection Committee.

A recent meeting of Departmental Selection Committee reviewed cases of eligible Assistant Grade Clerks and Stenographers serving in various units of KP Police Department.

The committee recommended promotion of 18 Assistants and one Stenographer, which were subsequently forwarded to Inspector General of Police (IGP) for final approval.
