KPK Provincial Services Academy delegation visits PRA

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) A 15-member delegation of the First Senior Management Course from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Provincial Services academy visited Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for a study tour

on Monday.

PRA Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Sipra briefed the delegation on departmental operations and key

reform initiatives.

During the session, the chairman underscored the importance of a thorough understanding of legal

interpretation, as well as the technical and legal dimensions of tax administration.

He highlighted that linking officers’ performance with the e-system has resulted in tangible improvements in efficiency and outcomes.

He further stated that PRA is actively striving to achieve the highest tax

collection target in Punjab’s history during the current fiscal year.

The chairman also noted the expansion of the services sector’s scope and emphasized that IT-based

reforms have significantly facilitated various sectors.

The visiting officers appreciated PRA’s reform measures and acknowledged the substantial growth in revenue collection. The delegation included officers from the departments of Communications & Works, Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control, Irrigation, Science and Information Technology.
