KPRA reviews progress on audit cases of regional offices

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) The Directorate of Inquiry, Investigation and Tax Audit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) here on Friday held a review meeting on various Audit Cases pertaining to KPRA's regional offices.

The Director, Inquiry and Investigations KPRA, Pir Muhammad Mehsud, chaired the monthly review meeting to assess the progress on audit cases referred by the Directorate of Inquiry, Investigation and Tax Audit to the Collectorate.

The meeting was attended by the Mardan and Malakand Region team in person, while representatives from the Regional Office South and the Regional Office North joined via video link.

During the session, all referred cases were taken up one by one, and progress reports were presented by representatives of each region.

The Director appreciated the efforts of all regions and directed them to submit their progress reports to his team before the 5th of every month, along with the documentation thereof.

The Director Inquiry, Investigation and Tax Audit KPRA further instructed his team to take up cases that are sub judice in courts, the Collectorate of Appeals, and the Appellate Tribunal with the Directorate of Legal, Tax Policy and Reforms, and seek their guidance to devise an appropriate future course of action.
