KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) The Office of Students’ Advisor of the University of Karachi organized a special seminar to celebrate one year of ‘Marka-e-Haq' (battle of truth): truth, sovereignty, and strategic stability, at the KU’s Audio Visual Centre on Monday.

Former ambassador Dr Jameel Ahmed Khan explained that the world saw how Pakistan’s armed forces compelled India to retreat through professional skill, courage, and strategic planning during Operation Bunyan ul-Marsoos. Pakistan achieved its declared targets with precision and accuracy, which the world acknowledged.

Speaking at a seminar, Dr Jameel Ahmed Khan highlighted that the success of ‘Marka-e-Haq' has become a milestone for Pakistan, while KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi emphasized that national development and stability demand collective effort beyond political differences.

He noted that after ‘Marka-e-Haq’, Pakistan gained a new global identity. In the modern era, technology has become critically important and plays a decisive role in defence strategy, as reflected in Pakistan’s performance during Operation Bunyan ul-Marsoos.

Speaker, Professor Dr Moiz Khan from the KU’s Department of History said that India’s current ruling leadership is pursuing policies based on extreme hatred against Muslims and denial of realities. He said that India has long promoted an anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim narrative under a single ideological framework. He highlighted that Pakistan is currently playing an important and effective role globally, attracting international attention.

He concluded that sustainable peace in the region requires recognition of realities and abandonment of hate-driven policies, paving the way for mutual respect and stability.
