Labour contractor arrested for assault

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) Police arrested a labour contractor for assaulting a 17-year-old boy in the Waris Khan area a week ago.

According to the FIR registered on the victim's complaint, the suspect took the teenager to a godown by force and committed the assault.

Waris Khan police, using technical and human intelligence sources, tracked down and arrested the accused. The victim underwent a medical examination, said a police spokesman.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal Saad Arshad said the arrested man would be challaned in court with solid evidence.

“The suspect is in custody and will face justice as per the law,” he added.
