Larkana police arrested two docoits in encounter, recovered pistols

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) Two police encounters held two dacoits arrested in an injured condition and pistols were recovered on Thursday. Police personnel on patrolling duty in the Sonhari Road area within the limits of the Dokri police station thwarted dacoits who were standing with the intention of committing a crime, foiling their nefarious purposes.

Another dacoit was arrested, injured, pistol was recovered. Police personnel on patrolling duty in the Peer Shaheed Road area within the limits of Bakrani police station thwarted dacoits who were standing with the intention of committing a crime, foiling their nefarious purposes.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkano Ahmed Chaudhry stated that during the exchange of fire, one dacoit was arrested and injured, along with a pistol. The dacoit arrested in an injured condition has been identified as Zafarullah, son of Bakhshal Buladi, resident of Maklani village, Taluka Warah, District Qambar Shahdadkot.

In another docoit case of initial investigations, the aforementioned dacoit is involved in serious crimes/cases. A search operation is being conducted on Peer Shahid Road for the arrest of the dacoits who managed to flee.

He said, according to initial investigations, the aforementioned dacoit is involved in crimes/serious cases in Karachi, as well as in Qambar Shahdadkot and Larkano, including various police stations. Another dacoit arrested in an injured condition has been identified as Ghulam Abbas Chandio.A search operation is being conducted on Sonhari Road for the arrest of the dacoits who managed to flee.

SSP Larkano Ahmed Chaudhry QPM, PSP, has issued orders for rewards and commendations for the police team that participated in the encounter and foiled the dacoits' nefarious purposes.
