ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday inaugurated a new library at the Islamabad Judicial Complex and said that the federal capital was being accorded top priority for judicial infrastructure development and improved legal facilities.
The minister was received by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain upon his arrival at the Judicial Complex.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Tarar said that since assuming office, he had made Islamabad his foremost priority and that development projects in the federal capital were progressing steadily. He said work on key projects had continued uninterrupted, even during the caretaker government, as part of efforts to transform Islamabad into a model city.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He said issues relating to the District Judicial Complex project were being resolved, while additional land had been allocated for lawyers' chambers. He added that the Ministry of Law had also decided to provide its own land to facilitate the legal fraternity.
The minister said judges of the Islamabad High Court were serving at higher levels of the judiciary, while members of the Islamabad Bar had also become part of the judicial system. He announced that the appointment of the Prosecutor General Islamabad would also be made from the Islamabad Bar to further strengthen and improve the justice system.
