Leghari expresses grief over loss of lives in DG Khan school roof collapse

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari on Thursday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic roof collapse incident at a private school in Dera Ghazi Khan that claimed lives and left around 20 people injured.

In a statement, the minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured children and directed the relevant authorities to ensure immediate and best possible medical treatment for them.

Awais Leghari expressed solidarity with the grieving and affected families during this difficult time. He prayed that Almighty Allah may grant the deceased children the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bless the injured with complete and speedy recovery.
