Livestock Deptt invites applications for internship program

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) The Punjab government has invited applications from veterinary graduates and paravets for a specialized internship program 2026-27 in Sargodha Division under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

According to a spokesperson for the Livestock Department on Wednesday, the initiative aims to provide youth with practical field experience, modern veterinary skills, and better employment opportunities while promoting advanced farming systems in the region.

Under the program, veterinary graduates would receive a monthly stipend of Rs 60,000, while paravets would be provided Rs 40,000 per month.

For the Sargodha Division, a total of 34 seats for veterinary graduates and 82 seats for paravets were reserved out of the provincial quota of 264 and 371 respectively.

The spokesperson stated that this program serves as a significant step towards professional development and the overall improvement of the livestock sector.

Eligible candidates are advised to submit their applications via the online portal jobs.punjab.gov.pk by the deadline of May 15, 2026, as only two days remain for the submission of documents.
