Livestock flood relief camps activated across division

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) In view of the possible flood situation, the livestock flood relief camps have been activated to provide timely veterinary facilities to the livestock farmers in the areas likely to be affected by the flood across the division.

According to the official sources here Friday, the veterinary staff has been deployed in three shifts at the flood relief camps. In these camps, arrangements have been made for emergency treatment, first aid, preventive vaccination, disease surveillance, essential medicines, technical guidance and other essential veterinary services for flood-affected animals.

In addition, the department's mobile veterinary dispensaries have also been mobilized in advance in affected areas. To deal with any emergency situation in a timely manner, flood emergency cells have also been established in all tehsil, district and divisional offices of the Livestock and Dairy Development Department, which are active round the clock to ensure continuous monitoring of the flood situation and prompt response.
