Loader rickshaw driver dies in accident

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) A loader rickshaw driver died after the three-wheeler went upside down

after hitting a road divider in the city Monday morning.

Rescue 1122 officials said, a rescue ambulance was dispatched immediately

and reached the scene within seven minutes.

The loader rickshaw, carrying wood, was moving at a high speed when it hit

a road divider and overturned.

As a result, the driver, Muhammad Kashif (30) s/o Muhammad Ashiq

suffered severe head injury.

Rescue personnel provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the injured

and shifted him to Nishtar Hospital. However, he could not survive and was

pronounced dead upon arrival.

Authorities have urged motorists to avoid over-speeding and follow traffic rules,

stressing that reckless and negligent driving remains a major cause of road accidents.
