Madam Noorjahan clinches first position by singing 2467 songs in her career

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) A Pakistani palayback Singer and actress Noorjahan popularly known as Malika-e-Taranum stood at the first position by singing a total of 2467 songs in her six-decade career spanned both British Indian and Pakistani cinema., while Mala Begum was at the second position with 1208 songs and Masood Rana was at the third position with 1054 songs.

According to a report published in the film magazine, Madam Noorjahan sang 2467 songs in her film career, of which 1795 were Punjabi and 659 were urdu songs.

Similarly Mala Begum sang 1208 songs of which 429 Punjabi and 777 Urdu songs were recorded.

Singer Ahmad Rushdi recorded 975 songs in his film career, of which 89 were Punjabi and 881 were Urdu.

A melodious singer Iron Parveen recorded a total of 812 songs of which 318 were Punjabi and 493 were Urdu.

Naseem Begum recorded a total of 811 songs of which 431 were Punjabi and 380 were Urdu songs.

Ghazal Maestro Mehdi Hasan Khan recorded a total of 684 songs in his voice in his film career, of which 97 were in Punjabi and 585 in Urdu.
