Man arrested for killing wife

A police spokesman said that the suspect Khalid Masih, who was wanted in a murder case, was arrested by using modern investigative techniques and professional policing strategies after a targeted operation.

He said that the accused had allegedly committed the heinous crime following a domestic dispute and personal enmity. He reportedly doused his wife Samina Bibi with petrol and set her ablaze, resulting in severe burn injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital for medical treatment but could not survive due to severity of her burns.
