Man awarded death for killing wife

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Additional Sessions Judge Sillanwali Naveed Khaliq, while deciding a murder case, FIR No. 348/24 under Section 302/201/34, sentenced a man to death for killing his wife, here on Friday.

According to the prosecution, Qadir Bukhsh, a resident of Sillanwali, had killed his wife Sonia Bibi on some domestic dispute.

The court, after getting solid evidence, awarded death penalty and imposed Rs. 5 lakh fine on the convict.
