Man dies as reckless driver rams motorcycle in Sargodha

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jun, 2026) At least one person was killed and two others sustained critical injuries when a speeding car crashed into a motorcycle in the Chak-22 Shumali area on the outskirts of Sargodha on wee hours of friday.

According to details, rescue officials said that the deceased was identified as Tassawar Abbas, who died at the scene of the accident, while his wife and son were seriously injured in the collision, local media channels reported.

Police and rescue teams arrived shortly after the incident and shifted the body and the injured victims to a nearby hospital.

According to police, the driver of the car fled the scene after the crash.

An investigation has been launched to trace the suspect and determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
