Man dies of electrocution

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) A 35-year-old mentally challenged man died of electrocution here on Pasrur Road near Sultan Hospital in the Haidri Chowk area of Sialkot on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122, the deceased, identified as Boota, son of Umar Hayat, reportedly climbed the electricity pole and came into contact with high-voltage power lines and was critically injured by the electric current.

Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident. However, the victim could not survive and was pronounced dead at the spot.
