Man held for assaulting minor girl

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) The Dhamial Police have apprehended a suspect allegedly involved in sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Tuesday.

According to the complainant, the accused had repeatedly subjected her to abuse through blackmail.

The spokesman said the Dhamial Police registered a case promptly on the application of the victim’s father and arrested the suspect.

He added that the medical examination of the affected girl was under way.

The spokesman said the accused would be challaned in court with solid evidence to ensure his conviction and exemplary punishment.

Superintendent of Police Saddar Anam Sher said abuse or harassment of women and children was intolerable and would be dealt with strictly.
