Man held for harassing schoolgirl in Gujar Khan

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) The Gujar Khan Police have apprehended a man for allegedly harassing an eighth-grade schoolgirl, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Wednesday.

The case was registered after the complainant alleged that the rickshaw driver responsible for picking and dropping his daughter from school harassed her and tore her shirt.

Acting promptly, the Gujar Khan Police traced and arrested the suspect by utilising all available resources.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Anum Sher directed the Gujar Khan Police to prepare a challan against the accused with solid evidence to ensure his conviction in court. She said harassment, abuse or violence against women and children was intolerable and would be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
