Man held for motorcycle theft; stolen items recovered

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Police have arrested a suspect involved in motorcycle theft and multiple burglary incidents, recovering stolen motorcycles and other valuables on Tuesday.

According to the details, two stolen motorcycles, a UPS, and two batteries were recovered from the accused's possession.

Sadar Bairooni Police confirmed the suspect used to enter houses and commit theft and burglary, targeting motorcycles and other household items.

The arrest was made using technical and human intelligence, said a police spokesman.

APP learned that citizens have complaints against a culprit named Awais for several robbery cases. However, he kept himself hiding from the police who were consistently following his activities, and was finally arrested.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Anum Sher said the accused would be challaned in court with solid evidence.

She said those depriving citizens of their valuables could not escape the grip of the law.
