LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration has intensified the process of strict passenger screening at Lahore Airport and arrested a traveler attempting to fly abroad on fake travel documents,here on Wednesday.
A spokesperson said that the arrested passenger was identified as Adnan,who was offloaded while attempting to travel to Malaysia via flight UL-154.
During initial investigation,fake arrival and departure stamps of Karachi Airport were detected on the passenger’s passport. The accused reportedly obtained the forged stamps from an agent by paying 5,000 Malaysian Ringgit.
The arrested accused has been shifted to the Anti-Human Smuggling Circle, Lahore for further investigation.
Director FIA Lahore Cap (retd) Muhammad Ali Zia said that a strict crackdown was underway against elements involved in preparing fake travel documents.
