RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) The Ratta Amral Police have apprehended a man wanted in an attempted murder case for the last two months.
A Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Tuesday that the accused had opened fire on a citizen following a minor altercation, leaving him injured, and had been absconding since the incident.
He said the police traced and arrested the suspect using human intelligence and other available means.
The Ratta Amral Police also recovered 800 grams of charas from the accused, and a separate case has been registered against him.
Meanwhile, the Chaklala Police arrested a man and recovered five litres of liquor, while the New Town Police and Taxila Police each apprehended one individual and seized weapons with ammunition, registering separate cases.
