Man killed after being hit by train

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) A man was killed after being hit by a train near Gorala Phatak area here on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122, the victim,identified as Arshad Mahmood (70), son of Sardar Khan and a resident of Gorala, was crossing the railway track when he was struck by a passenger train travelling from Rawalpindi to Lahore.

The impact was severe and the body was severely mutilated.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene and shifted the body to the deceased’s residence after completion of legal formalities on the request of the family.
