Man killed in assault, three injured in separate incidents in D I Khan

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) A man was killed in an alleged assault incident, while three others sustained injuries in separate accidents reported in different areas of Dera Ismail Khan, Rescue 1122 officials said on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the control room received an emergency call regarding an incident of violence near Girsal, close to Muqeem Shah. Responding promptly, a rescue ambulance along with a medical team was dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the rescue team found that the incident involved physical assault and the victim, identified as Mudassar, had already succumbed to his injuries on the spot. After completing necessary procedures, the body was shifted to a nearby hospital to fulfill legal formalities.

In another incident, a motorcyclist sustained injuries after his bike slipped near Muriyali. The injured, identified as Gulzar, 26, was provided first aid by Rescue 1122 personnel before being shifted to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.

Separately, two persons were injured in a road traffic accident near Luchra. The injured, identified as Mamoor and Khalid, residents of Darazinda, were given immediate medical assistance at the scene and later transported to hospital for further treatment.

Rescue 1122 reiterated its commitment to providing timely emergency response and urged citizens to follow safety precautions to prevent such incidents.
