Man killed, woman injured in road mishap

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) A 31-year-old man was killed and a woman seriously injured when a motorcycle collided with a tractor-trolley on Vehari Road near 19-Kasi on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122, emergency teams rushed to the scene after receiving the alert.

The deceased, identified as Aftab, son of Ashraf Shah, suffered a fatal head injury and died on-the-spot.

The injured woman, Saima Mai, 45, daughter of Ashraf Shah, sustained a fractured leg and was provided first aid before being shifted to Nishtar Hospital for further treatment.

Police completed legal formalities at the scene and handed over the body to the victim’s family. Authorities urged road users to follow traffic rules and wear helmets while riding motorcycles.
