Man rescued alive from 60-feet deep well

LODHRAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) The Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122, successfully saved a man who became trapped in a deep well in the Khanwah Ghalwan area here on Wednesday.

According to officials, 52-year-old Fayyaz Hussain, son of Mulazim Hussain and a resident of Qureshi Wala, was working inside a tube well approximately 60 feet deep when he suddenly suffered an epileptic seizure, leaving him unable to climb out.

Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 teams promptly arrived at the scene and launched a rescue operation. Demonstrating professionalism and efficiency, the rescuers successfully pulled the man out alive.

He was given immediate first aid at the scene before being shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for further treatment.
