Man's body found from canal

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) A body of a young man was found in the Rakh Branch canal within the limits of Roshanwala Police Station on Tuesday.

According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122,passersby spotted a corpse floating in the canal near Roshanwala Jhall on Samundri road and alerted the authorities.

Rescue teams rushed to the scene and retrieved the body of a man,believed to be around 35 years old.

Police also reached the spot and shifted the body into custody, while efforts were underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased,the spokesperson added.
